Dr Alexander Furlan

Dr Alexander Furlan graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2020 and has gained experience working across both metropolitan and regional South Australia. He is passionate about providing high-quality dental care in a calm, welcoming environment where patients feel genuinely comfortable and supported.

Dr Alexander enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with particular interests in surgical, cosmetic, and restorative treatment. He is currently completing a postgraduate diploma in Implantology and has furthered his training through advanced implant dentistry courses overseas. He has participated in volunteer dental programs in Nepal and Mexico, experiences that further strengthened his passion for helping people through dentistry. Dr Alexander is committed to ongoing education and staying up to date with modern techniques and technology to provide the best possible care for his patients.

Known for his calm and relaxed approach, Dr Alexander especially enjoys helping anxious patients feel at ease and changing the way people feel about visiting the dentist. He believes that clear communication, trust, and a positive experience are central to great dental care, and strives to ensure every patient feels informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their treatment.

Outside of dentistry, Alexander enjoys staying active through soccer and running, as well as travelling and exploring good food and wine. While in Nepal he even pushed himself to complete the Everest Base Camp trek.

Dr Katherine Fang

Dr Katherine Fang is a caring and approachable Dentist who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred dental care. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2020. Katherine enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in prosthodontics, dental restorations and root canal therapy.

She believes that creating a calm, supportive and trusting environment is an essential part of the dental experience. Understanding that dental visits can feel daunting for many patients, Dr Fang takes the time to listen carefully to each patient’s concerns and tailor treatment plans to their individual needs. She regularly checks in throughout treatment to ensure patients feel supported and comfortable at all times.

Dr Fang speaks both English and Cantonese.

Dr Katherine Rao

Dr Katherine Rao graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2014 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-focused dental care. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in dental sleep medicine and paediatric dentistry.

With a strong attention to detail, Katherine is committed to achieving the best possible long-term oral health outcomes for her patients while creating a positive and supportive dental experience.

Katherine is known for her gentle and calming approach, helping even anxious patients feel comfortable and at ease during their appointments. She takes the time to carefully explain treatment options and ensure patients feel informed and confident in their dental care decisions.

Nicole Claussnitzer

Nicole is a caring and experienced Dental Hygienist who is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health. She completed her Diploma of Dental Hygiene in 2000 and spent 15 years working in Berlin, Germany before relocating to Australia.

Known for her gentle and thorough approach, Nicole is dedicated to making every appointment a comfortable and positive experience. She has a strong focus on preventative care and enjoys tailoring treatment plans to suit each patient’s individual needs and goals.

Nicole speaks both English and German.

Dr Yohan Thomas

Dr Yohan Thomas is a Specialist Prosthodontist with extensive experience in restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry and Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) at the University of Adelaide.

For more than 10 years, he has taught at the University of Adelaide Dental School as a Visiting Specialist Prosthodontist. He has also lectured nationally and internationally on dentures, broken and worn teeth, missing teeth, dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. Dr Thomas has held leadership positions within the Australian Prosthodontic Society SA Branch, serving as both Vice President and President.

Dr Thomas is passionate about empowering patients with clear, evidence-based information to help them achieve the best possible long-term outcomes. He also enjoys mentoring and supporting new graduate dentists as they begin their careers.
